Sunabeda sanctuary is situated in Odisha’s Nuapada district and is in close proximity of Chhattisgarh border. As per the Wildlife Protection Act 1972, spreading over 600 sq km Sunabeda was recognized as a sanctuary in the year 1988. Today, Sunabeda has grown into the most enjoyable sanctuary of Odisha that has created its own identity with the presence of 12 beautiful waterfalls. Crammed with natural beauty, the sanctuary has turned out to be a beautiful home for the wild animals.
