Yes, Maldives in a budget is indeed possible. We stayed on a local island called Fulidhoo in Vavu Atoll for 6 days and booked it through Fulidhoo Dive (instagram.com/fulidhoo_dive_maldives/), one of the best dive centers in Maldives. The entire island can be covered on foot – width in 2 minutes and length in 5 mins of walking.

There are two ways to travel in Maldives – Resort Island vs. Local Island.
