Neyyar wild life sanctuary is a famous family picnic spot in trivandrum which is 32 km away from trivandrum. you can get bus from trivandrum to kattakkada everytime and also will get bus from kattakkada to neyyar dam in an every half an hour. Entry ticket of Neyyar dam is 10 Rupees only. Neyyar dam is built on 1958 with 56 meter height and 294 meter length. Its a mesmerizing view of water flowing through the 4 spillways in rainy season. Calm and tranquil atmosphere in this dam area provides a safe and enjoyable location for family and couples.
