In this travel video, I will be visiting the rock-cut caves, located just about 2.5 KM from Bhubaneswar ISBT bus-stand. These caves takes us back in time, somewhere around the 1st and 2nd centuries BC, where King Kharavela of the Meghavahana dynasty, widely regarded as the most powerful king in the history of Odisha, built beautiful rock cut spaces on the twin hills of Udaygiri and Khandagiri, for the Jain monks and offered them a place to stay and meditate.
