In this video, I head out on a solo camping adventure in my new camper van, travelling deep into the Peak District National Park in search of one of Britain’s most elusive mammals — the mountain hare.

What starts as a simple van life photography trip quickly turns into a real winter challenge as the weather dramatically changes and heavy snow sweeps across the moorlands. The conditions are absolutely stunning — blanketed landscapes, blowing snow, and wild winter light — but they also make finding and photographing mountain hares incredibly difficult.
