Periyar Tiger Reserve, is a protected forest area in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala located in the districts of Idukki and Pathanamthitta. Lot of ecotourism options are available in the forest for tourists and you can book through the official website mentioned below. Today we are staying at Edapalayam watch tower which is situated inside the tiger reserve. The chance of animal sightings are very high in this place.
