Backpacking Big Sur

I’ve been to this same spot three times now, and it never gets old. The views and sunsets here are absolutely stunning.

I started this trip on a Saturday morning and arrived at the Boronda Trailhead around 11:30 AM, definitely later than planned. I packed up my gear and hit the trail. This hike is pretty challenging due to the steep elevation gain, and starting during the hottest part of the day wasn’t the best idea.
