Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is a small wildlife conservation area in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It is about 33 km Almora. The sanctuary was established in 1988 for the conservation and protection of the shrinking broad leaf oak (Quercus) forests of the Central Himalayan region. It has over 200 bird species.
Within the sanctuary, there are a few resorts that provide a peaceful stay among dense forests. We visited Binsar in October 2020.
