Day 3 of our expedition to Tibet was very critical. It was time to go through the Chinese immigration process and truly cross an international border. We didn’t have to ride much, but there was a significant amount of uncertainty about the border crossing itself. Fortunately, our guide in Tibet showed up at the immigration gate and helped ensure that all of us and our bikes were able to pass through without any problems.
