Jaisalmer is known as the “Golden City”. Just look at the colours. Jaisalmer, a town in Rajasthan which lies in the heart of Thar desert. The city is built on a foundation of yellow sandstone which imparts it a golden colour.
The town of Jaisalmer showcases interesting architecture, intricately carved sculptures and strategically built fort. Truly a paradise it is in middle of desert. I loved being here enjoying jeep safari, camel ride, lovely sunset and sunrise.
