Since 2007, Secret Arts has commissioned the Pirate Technics to build and burn the floating lake installation at The Secret Garden Party. In 2011, for its 60th anniversary celebration of the 1951 Festival of Britain, the Southbank Centre in London invited the collective to make a piece of high profile public art.

Each summer at Snugbury’s Farm in Cheshire, the community comes together to make a giant straw structure. The Southbank Centre invited The Pirate Technics to recreate this countryside…
