Energetic and in colourful costumes, Amita Khare and her troupe from Bhopal perform Kathak Classical style of dancing during the Khajuraho Dance Festival, 2020. This dance is believed to be originated from the travelling bards in North India and later as became more prominent with the Bhakti Movement and the Mughal times. This dance form was performed in the Mughal palaces as a form of entertainment.
