Who doesn’t love a vacation in Thailand? That was to be my plan, except I didn’t have the typical vacation in mind. I had always been fascinated by this area called the Golden Triangle, located on the tri-border of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. I heard the Chinese had taken over. Sounded great! I wanted to go see what was happening.

I invited a familiar face from Indonesia to join me in Chiang Rai.
