Find the right conversations faster with new inbox filters. Filter by channel (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc.), reservation status, message type (reservation vs. support), or unread status. You can also scope your search to specific fields like guest name, listing name, confirmation code, or message text. Available on both web and mobile.

Already started writing a reply? Use the new “Improve with AI” action (sparkle icon) to refine your message before sending. The AI polishes your draft while keeping your intent and personal style.

Non-refundable discount on Airbnb
Offer guests a discount when they choose a non-refundable cancellation policy. Set the discount percentage in your Airbnb channel settings and attract more committed bookings.
Reservation events in your inbox
Your inbox threads now include a timeline of reservation events: booking confirmed, check-in, check-out, cancellation, and review activity. See the full story of each stay in one place without switching screens.
Translate messages on the mobile app
Tap the translate button on any guest message in the mobile app to see a translation instantly. Translations are cached so you don’t have to wait if you revisit the conversation.
“Currently Staying” badge in inbox
At a glance, see which guests are currently at your property. An “Currently Staying” badge appears on active reservations in the inbox, helping you prioritize responses.
Custom smart lock access codes
Set a specific access code for a guest’s smart lock instead of relying on auto-generated codes. Codes are validated against your lock’s constraints (e.g., digit restrictions for TTLock or Nuki devices) to ensure they work.
Last-minute review with custom ratings
Customize the star rating for each review category before sending, and enable a “send at last minute” option that waits until just before the review window closes to submit your review.
Cancel reservation via API
Partners and integrators can now cancel internal and direct booking reservations programmatically through the Host Tools API.
Improvements
AI learns from your past conversations
Host Tools now automatically improves AI responses from conversations with guests and uses them to improve future AI responses. The more conversations you have, the better the AI becomes at answering common questions about your property.
Smarter AI intent handling
The AI now recognizes and responds appropriately to discount requests, booking confirmations, cancelled reservation inquiries, pre-booking questions, and checkout messages.
Direct booking: fine print now visible
Fine print you’ve added to your listing now appears in the “Things to Know” section of your direct booking site, so guests see important details before booking.
Direct booking: improved pagination and photo descriptions
Direct booking search results now use numbered pagination with prev/next navigation. Photo descriptions you’ve set also now display on your direct booking site.
Guest count filtering on all message rules
Guest count conditions (minimum and maximum) now work on all message rule types, including booking confirmations and change events, not just scheduled messages.
Smarter lock code generation
Lock codes now respect device-specific constraints. For example, TTLock codes avoid unsupported digits, and Nuki codes no longer contain zeros or start with 12. This prevents failed code sets and ensures guests always get a working code.
Guest reviews visible in inbox
When a guest leaves a review, the star rating and review text now appear in the inbox thread alongside other reservation events.
Performance & Reliability
- Streaming API responses — Calendar and pricing data now streams from the server instead of loading all at once, reducing page load times
- Multi-calendar lazy loading — The multi-calendar now loads listing data progressively, significantly improving initial load time for accounts with many listings
- VRBO price sync reliability — Price updates to VRBO are now faster
