Carlsbad Caverns is a national park in the Guadalupe Mountains located in the Chihuahuan desert of southeastern New Mexico. The park entrance is on US Highway 62/180, approximately 18 miles southwest of the town Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Carlsbad Caverns has an annual average of about 410,000 visitors. The busiest weekends usually follow Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
At the time of this video, Reservations must be made in advance, either online or by telephone to enter the caverns.
